Connect Claude or Cursor to Navbatly

Navbatly's MCP server works with Claude on the web, in the desktop app and in Claude Code, and with Cursor. Add this address, sign in with your Navbatly account, and your assistant can work with your tickets, time and reports.

Server address, the same for every assistant
https://navbatly.com/mcp

Claude on the web and in the desktop app

Custom connectors work on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one. The desktop app uses the same connectors as claude.ai. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector under Organization settings → Connectors, then each person connects it.

  1. Open Connectors

    In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors, click + Add, then Add custom connector.

  2. Enter the address

    Name it Navbatly, paste the server address and click Continue.

    Server address
    https://navbatly.com/mcp
  3. Keep sign-in on

    Leave the detected sign-in settings as they are, choose Sign in now and click Add.

  4. Sign in

    Approve the connection with your Navbatly account in the window that opens. Claude never sees your password.

Claude Code

  1. Add the server

    Run this in a terminal. Add --scope user to use it in every project, not only this one.

    Terminal
    claude mcp add --transport http navbatly https://navbatly.com/mcp
  2. Sign in

    In Claude Code, run /mcp, choose navbatly and sign in in the browser. Or sign in from your shell:

    Terminal
    claude mcp login navbatly
  3. Ask

    Ask in your own words, like "What's still waiting on clients?"

Cursor

  1. Add the server

    Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json to use it in every project, or to .cursor/mcp.json in one project. If the file already lists servers, add the navbatly entry inside its mcpServers.

    ~/.cursor/mcp.json
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "navbatly": {
          "url": "https://navbatly.com/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  2. Sign in

    Cursor asks you to sign in to navbatly and opens your browser. Approve the connection with your Navbatly account.

  3. Check it is on

    Under Customize in Cursor's sidebar, navbatly is listed with its tools. Use its toggle to turn it off for a while.

What signing in gives the assistant

Your own access, nothing more: the teams you belong to, with your role's permissions in each. A member's assistant cannot change contracts; an owner's can do what an owner can. There is no API key to copy or keep safe.

Everything it changes is done as you and shows in the ticket's activity like any change made in the app. What the assistant can do lists every tool.

Disconnect

  • Claude

    Go to Customize → Connectors and remove Navbatly. A Team or Enterprise owner can remove it for everyone under Organization settings → Connectors.

  • Claude Code

    Run /mcp and choose Clear authentication, or remove the server, which also deletes its sign-in:

    Terminal
    claude mcp remove navbatly
  • Cursor

    Turn navbatly off or remove it under Customize.

Troubleshooting

The assistant cannot reach the server

Check the address is exactly https://navbatly.com/mcp, with /mcp at the end, and that you can sign in to Navbatly in your browser.

Sign-in works but the assistant is refused

The MCP server serves accounts with a verified email address. Open the link in the email Navbatly sent when you signed up; signing in to Navbatly offers to send it again.

It connects but finds nothing

It works in your current team. Name another team you belong to in your request, or switch team in Navbatly.

It says it is not allowed to do something

It has your role's permissions. Ask an owner or admin of the team, who can change your role or do it themselves.

It asks me to sign in again

Sign in again when asked. To start over, remove the server and add it again: in Claude Code, claude mcp remove navbatly deletes the old sign-in too.
