Built on a modern stack

Karve builds front ends on React and Next.js, back ends on Laravel with Inertia and on Node, content on Sanity, commerce on Shopify and Medusa, and mobile apps on React Native with Expo. It is a partner of Sanity and Vercel. Navbatly itself is a Laravel and Inertia app.

Why Karve built Navbatly

A Karve site does not end at launch: its consultancy and support covers roadmaps, platform decisions and SLA-backed support long after a site goes live, on ongoing retainers.

Before Navbatly, the tickets lived in an issue tracker and each client's monthly hours sheet was built from them separately, after the month ended: what was included in the plan, what was billable, and what each line meant in plain English.

Navbatly does that as the work happens. Time is logged on the ticket and charged the way the contract says, the client's line is written once, and the month's report is there when the month ends.

What runs on Navbatly

  • Support plans

Each client's monthly allowance, with the hours used and left on one overview.

  • Monthly housekeeping

A housekeeping ticket for each client every month: updates and a website check.

  • Navbatly itself

Every change to Navbatly is a ticket with its time logged, so we meet every rough edge first.

  • From Claude

Much of the ticket and time work goes through Navbatly's MCP server.
